Today we took our P6s and P7s to the 'Beesafe' event in Antrim. Here the children were able to learn and discuss issues around community relations (with CRIS group), healthy relationships (with Nexus), road Safety and anti-social behaviour (with the PSNI), addictive substances (with Hype), bus safety (with Tranlink), home safety and hazards (with Environmental Health) and fire safety (with the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service). The children were a credit to Duneane P.S. and answered and contributed alot to each station. We all had a great time learning about all these very important issues around Community Health and Safety!
