Garden Jobs

13th Oct 2022

Today was the perfect morning for pupils to get some important jobs done in our school grounds! Carrots were harvested, bird feeders were made and our new wall troughs were planted out with some pollinator friendly plants. David Maxwell (BBC Radio Ulster) joined us and took the opportunity to record some of our activity - watch this space!
While he was with us, we invited him to plant a Downy Birch which we received from Antrim and Newtownabbey Council at their recent Best Kept Gardens Awards Ceremony.

A busy morning that was enjoyed by everyone! Thank you to David for taking the time to visit Duneane.
