Today in Science club we made 'Fireworks in a cup'.
Before starting we discovered what density was and made a prediction about each of the materials we were using. Most of us guessed oil had the biggest density - but we were wrong!
The oil settled above the water and then the food colouring dropped to the bottom in droplets creating the illusion of fireworks.
